Special Abilities:
The special ability for this clan is probably the most interesting, awesome, and unique special ability anyone can have! No, just kidding, some people might think that. Anyways, the special ability is....Shape-Shifting! No, it's not impossible, well, not for some people. All people from the Kaeru clan has the power to shape-shift, although it's really hard to do.
The only thing you can't shape-shift into are magical creatures like Dragons and such. The bigger animal you shape-shift into, the more chakra it takes. Even turning into a bunny takes much chakra! Lucky for you, Kaero clan is known for it's great Chakra energy! Well...it used to be known.
To do the Shape-Shifting there's a special hand seal, that was made up by Aviv himself. The hand sign is explained as:
Clasp your hands together first. Put up both pinkie fingers and put them against each other, facing each other. Do the same with the middle finger and the thumb. This leaves both other fingers down. (Index Finger and Ring Finger) then, all you have to do is do the hand sign of the animal you want to shape-shift into. Although, if you try the dragon sign, you will sadly be turned into a lizard for a whole minute.
The longer you're in the form you are in, the more chakra you use. The way to go back human is to concentrate back to your human form for a minute. The lower rank you are, the longer it takes to shape-shift back. Most Jonin's can do it instantly.
History:
There was once a Ninja named Aviv, he was a great Ninja. He was one that mastered so many Jutsus, but mainly...Sound Jutsus. Yes, he was from Otagakure No Sato, where Orochimaru is ruler himself. Aviv never liked Orochimaru, he thought that he was destroying hopes and dreams of Ninjas, Ninjas that would never have a future with him...
He always saw Orochimaru as a "bad guy". But, he could do nothing, he was under Orochimaru's rule. And even a great Ninja himself was not match for Orochimaru. So, he had to keep going, for the sake of his family...His family would most likely die if he fought back.
Anyways, Aviv was on a mission, the same as usual. He was usually one to trust on when it came to these sort of things. He was fighting when he accidentally made the wrong hand sign, after that doing the tiger sign. Something strange happened then....his team mates found their-selves fighting with a tiger!
After the battle, which was over quite quickly, he tried his best to go back human. He thought of what he wanted, to get back in his human form, and then...in a puff of whites smoke, he stood there once again. He was amazed at what he had done...
When he was supposed to go home, he went to his favorite hide-out. A open place with a spring. He did the jutsu again, finding himself tiger form again. His first thought was "Wow! Amazing! I must tell people!" but he stopped. Orochimaru might try to use him if he found out.
So he decided he would see if he could turn into anything else before he did anything. He did the animal hand sign after the hand sign he made himself, and he turned into that animal. He found it easier to turn into it when he said what he was going to turn into. For example: "Shape-shifting...Tiger Style!"
He turned into every animal he could think of before he went home. Now get this, his blood type was O. He then wanted to test something out. He ran home, and got friends of his. Different blood types, to try and do this. Everyone tried and the only ones that were able to do it was the ones with blood type O, and that wasn't many.
Aviv decided that if Orochimaru found out himself, he would use all of them. So, he took every O type and ran off with them, deciding to find a new home away from Orochimaru's rule. His group went on to find a new home for days, and it seemed hopeless. They would have to find a new home while staying in Otagakure.
He didn't want to, but he felt like he had no choice. So they looked around some more before finally finding a place to settle down. It was a place surrounded my large trees, so it possibly could be hidden from sight. They made there village there, and Aviv made the village into a clan. It's name was: Kaeru.
Did you know, that Aviv meant New Beginning? It surely fit him. The new village thrived for a long time, for about 5 years. But then, everything went wrong. Nobody could stop it....
They found their-selves in a war with some of Orochimaru's people. They was there to take hostages...and even kill some. They only needed about 6 people to take alive, the rest would die. Aviv only thought of one thing: His people. So he decided to stand up to the enemies, while the rest fled.
That day...Aviv died. And so did many other people, who didn't get out before they could. There was only a few survivors left, and they was injured greatly. They knew they could not stay in Otagakure anymore, so they decided they would find a place with protection for them all.
They went by many places, and all shunned them for being Sound Ninjas originally. They went on for a long time, more dying because they couldn't make it. Finally, they made it. They came across Konohagakure, but to get in they finally had to disguise there-selves from where they were from. They said they was from Kumogakure for now. They knew the real word would spread out someday, but at least it would buy them some time to prove they weren't secretly assassins.
They made there home there, and none of them dared joining an academy or anything to show there powers of sound. They tried to find a new leader for there Clan, and found one, but she refused the offer. So they had to look again, until they found somebody named Akio. Although he was not as great as Aviv, he would do. He was a strong leader, and also loved the people of the Kaeru clan.
They live there peacefully still. Only one has dared to come out of there village safely hidden in Konohagakure. Her name was Ninavereal Crystalstar Kaeru. The one that was offered to be the leader of the Kaeru clan, but denied. She went to the Leaf Village with a girl named Mastik and Alyce. Everybody hopes that they will still be safe if they give it away....give away that they were sound ninja's.
So far, all is good. Mastik and Alyce had joined the academy, while Ninavereal had become a Sensei. Nina wears a leaf headband even though they have there own headbands from the Kaeru clan. Ninavereal knows she has to someday though. She's just trying to figure out how. She doesn't want to hurt the people of the clan she's from.
Some people think she hates her own Clan. But she doesn't. What she's trying to do, is prove that they weren't bad. Become part of the leaf and then when it was time...show there sound attacks. Right now Mastik and Ninavereal has not really gone on any missions, and they know that they will have to be careful about how they attack. People hope, that they will make the right decision of giving it away. The next thing they needed...was another war. The people in this place are still recovering, and they don't have much of a clan left, so they only hope for the best.

With this Jutsu the user may give a person 10 minutes of being a Shape-Shifter. The user must perform the animal seals they want the person to have, finish with a triangle, and then put there hand on there chest. The catch though is that you will lose these animals that you give. This is a fairly easy move for Genin's, although they may only give 3 animals at a time. Higher ranks can do more animals.

Basically, with this Jutsu you can shape-shift into an animal just like that...Just think of the animal you want in your mind and you will turn into it. You don't even have to change back human to shape-shift again. If you're a tiger, you can immeidiatly turn into a rabbit. With this Jutsu you have so many options open, especially if you don't know every animal hand seal. You don't even have to say anything out loud.
Note: Since these people were origanlly from the Sound, they have the ability to do Sound Jutsu's. Also, they can shape-shift into anything as long as they do the right hand sign. So therefor, these jutsu's do not count as Sound or Basic Shape-Shifting.
